Finance Director
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on full-time Finance Director to oversee all aspects of our financial operations and contribute to the long-term sustainability of our mission. This position is part of the senior leadership team and reports directly to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audit preparation
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, grant administration, and facilities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal/state regulations, and funding requirements
- Supervise finance staff, grants coordinator, and property manager
- Serve as the primary administrator for NetSuite (Accounting & HR software)
- Tackle challenges with a solutions-focused mindset, using data to drive improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience with supervisory duties
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Preferred: CPA licensure and/or previous experience in a nonprofit setting
