Assistant Coordinator Good Shepherd Shelter - Wausau
Catholic Charities is seeking a full-time Assistant Coordinator. Through the direction of the evening Good Shepherd Shelter Coordinator, the Assistant Coordinator provides local leadership in accordance with the Good Shepherd Shelter mission and in accordance with the mission of Catholic Charities. The Assistant Coordinator is responsible “to provide a safe, clean place for single men or women, regardless of what their ambitions or hopes are, to sleep overnight; shower, clean their clothing, and have breakfast while ensuring our guest’s personal dignity, respect, and safety.” The Assistant Coordinator will work collaboratively to link guests to other appropriate services within the Wausau Community and Catholic Charities. The Assistant Coordinator will provide supervision to other employees and volunteers and provide them with support and consultation.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule including some overnights and weekends.
Associate's degree in a Human Services field preferred or equivalent experience working with homeless or marginalized populations.
Pay range is $16.83 to $21.74 based on education and experience.
