Adoption Administrative Assistant – Eau Claire

The Catholic Charities Adoption Department is looking for a part time administrative assistant for 28 hours a week in Eau Claire. We are looking for someone who can assist on projects for the department in addition to maintaining and organizing current electronic and paper files. Persons knowledgeable in adoption and family services preferred.

The position is part-time (28 hours per week), with starting wages being between $12.00-$14.50 per hour.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
a) Education: Associates degree or equivalent relevant experience.
b) Possess good organizational skills.
c) Is able to follow established policies and procedures.
d) Ability to multitask and prioritize.
e) Possesses good keyboarding and computer skills.
f) Has an attention for detail.
g) Displays compassion and respect to others.
h) Possesses knowledge about adoption and family services.
i) Knowledge and commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) General administrative and clerical duties and responsibilities.
b) Performs data entry duties.
c) Assists in the organization of paper and electronic files.
d) Organizes various inventory for the department.
e) Collaborates with other Catholic Charities co-workers in other programs and offices.
f) Maintains client confidentiality in accordance with reasonable standards.
g) Follows policies and procedures of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse.
h) Other duties that may be assigned.
