Lead Staff-Eau Claire Community Haven House
Community Haven House (CHH) is a collaborative formed in partnership with Eau Claire City, Eau Claire County, the Greater Eau Claire Community, and a host of nonprofit organizations including Catholic Charities to provide shelter and services to the homeless population. CCH is seeking a part-time Lead Staff. Through the direction of the CHH on-site Coordinator, the Lead Staff will provide local leadership in accordance with the CHH mission and in accordance with the mission of the collaborative partners which is "to provide a safe, clean place for single men and single women, regardless of what their ambitions or hopes are while ensuring our guest's personal dignity, respect, and safety." The lead staff works to make guests feel welcome, engage them in discussion, and provide encouragement to participate in activities. They will also provide direction and support to the volunteers.
Prior experience with the homeless or vulnerable desired. Candidates must be willing to work weekends.
SKILL AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 18 years old.

Specific training/experience working with homeless or marginalized populations desired.

Ability to display compassion and respect to others
The starting pay is between $15-$18.89 per hour based on education and experience. This is a part-time position between 20-25 hours per week. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Paid leave time is accrued based on hours worked. Background check required.
