Providing Hope, Changing Lives, Serving All…
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse proclaims Christ’s Gospel of Life and promotes human dignity by alleviating poverty and strengthening individuals and families. We work with individuals, families and communities to help them meet their needs, address their issues, eliminate oppression, and build a just and compassionate society.
At Catholic Charities, we strive to embody the spirit of compassion and hospitality, ensuring that no one is turned away. We open our doors to the most vulnerable members of our community, providing them with warmth, nourishment, and hope. This Advent season, we humbly appeal to your generosity to help us continue our mission of serving Christ’s children in our community.
You are cordially invited to join Catholic Charities for our 14th Annual Evening in the Chippewa Valley & Sojourner House Campaign Kickoff on Friday, January 26!
Many lives have been touched by the Good Shepherd Shelter, the La Crosse Warming Center and the Sojourner House in the last year. But we are facing some tough times ahead. Without your support we will not be able to help transform lives this holiday season and in the years ahead.
Every year hundreds of individuals and families in need across the diocese request help at Christmas time and to fulfill these requests, we need your help! If you are able to assist, please contact us and we will match your donation with a child or family needing help this year.
Our Warming Centers are open and we are in need of volunteers in La Crosse, Wausau and Eau Claire! Volunteering can take many forms which include making and serving meals, distributing bedding and clothing, helping a guest read, and enjoying the evening. Whatever your schedule permits or comfort level, we have a volunteer opportunity for you!
