Areas of Responsibility include:

Marketing:
En general, sirve como representante de Caridades Católicas. Promueve nuestra visión y misión a la comunidad.. Supervisa el diseño del sitio web de la agencia, página de inicio de sesión del personal, políticas de redes sociales, todos los folletos y publicaciones de la agencia, boletines trimestrales, e informe anual. Promueve la agencia general y proyectos especiales en la comunidad.. Participates in media interviews. Attends community events where Catholic Charities’ representation is needed. Writes press releases. Prepares public responses to difficult issues when necessary.

Desarrollo:
Creates all fundraising appeal materials and mailings (Lenten, Summer, Holiday, Advent).

Establishes relationships with large donors. Reaches out to donors in regards to events.

Special Project Management:
Plans and coordinates fundraising events such as the Lenten Luncheons and Chippewa Valley Event. Develops event concepts/ themes.

Board Relations:
Liaison between Board of Directors and Agency. Ensures the board has everything they need to conduct regular meetings (annual calendars, agendas, meeting packets).

Responsible for Board login pages.

Attends program and development board committee meetings.

Supervision:
Supervises Development Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, and Afghanistan Project Coordinator.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field is required along with prior related work experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing/Communications/Public Relations/Development as well as prior supervisory experience preferred.

Proven success with branding.

High Degree of professionalism. Must be able to exhibit patience when working with the public along with grace under pressure.

Excellent communication skills-verbal and written. Must enjoy interacting with the public and various media outlets, including being interviewed on camera.

Proven time management and organizational skills.

Must exhibit an understanding of and enthusiasm for promoting the mission and values of Catholic Charities.

Creativity is a requirement for many aspects of this position-ex. written materials, evento planeado, and web design.
