I am so excited to be a part of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse and its mission to serve our community. As a Support Specialist II, I currently split my time between working in the Adult Day Services Program as a Support Specialist and in the Community Based Services Program as a Rehabilitation Worker. I love the relationships I have built and continue to build with both clients and coworkers. I am grateful for this opportunity to increase my skills in helping others.
I grew up here in La Crosse and I currently live in Onalaska with my partner and 2 cats. In my free time, I like to play Pokemon Go, exercise, watch movies, listen to music and see my family. I have my BA in Art from Luther College. I have been able to use my creativity in the human services field to come up with engaging activities and ideas for clients. I am currently studying Human Services at Northcentral Technical College online and hope to get an AA in both Human Services and Substance Use Disorder Counseling. I have been working with individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges for the past 7 years in the community, residential facilities, and the public school system.
