Construction is in process at the new Catholic Charities downtown location and progress is being made. As with any renovation, there will be bumps in the road. Demolition has been mostly completed and asbestos abatement is in process. Staff is meeting regularly with the construction teams and materials and colors are being selected. We are well on our way to moving into our new location! All of our contractors have been wonderful to work with and we thank them for their continued diligence in meeting our short timeline.

We are excited about the new amenities that will be available to Warming Center guests. This includes showers and laundry facilities, access to the Men’s Clothes Closet, availability of meeting with a St. Lawrence Financial Wellness Advocate. Additionally, we will be able to provide services for the Warming Center starting earlier in the evening and allowing guests to stay later in the morning.
