The purpose of Summer Programming is to provide support for parents and caregivers by offering services in daily living, social skills and opportunities for summer recreation to individuals with developmental disabilities. Classes are offered in La Crosse from mid-June to mid-August, and are available to K-12 students and students ages 5-21. If you have any questions, please contact Steve Burnette at 608.519.8040 or Breta Lee at 608.519.8032 or 608.403.7274.
Students attend a variety of weekly outings at libraries, pools, parks and movie theaters. These outings have included the Norskedalen Nature Center, Clearwater Farm, The International Owl Center, N.A.S.A Pontoon Boat Ride, La Crosse County Fair, Myrick Park and Marcus Summer Movies Series.
Private pay is accepted at any time. Public enrollment must be approved for services by the school district or county funding human services department.
