Sojourner House Assistant Coordinator – Eau Claire

Catholic Charities is currently looking to fill the full-time Assistant Coordinator position at the Sojourner House in Eau Claire, working with our community homeless population. The Assistant Coordinator would assist the Director in the daily operations and provide shift supervision, support, and training to volunteers and Lead Staff during the evening and night shifts. Ideal candidates will possess excellent decision making & interpersonal skills. Be recognized as a leader and respond to urgent and/ or unexpected situations—prior experience with the homeless or vulnerable desired. Candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends.

SKILL AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
a) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field preferred.
b) Possess specific training/experience working with homeless or marginalized populations.
c) Displays compassion and respect for others.
d) Ability to understand and maintain documentation and confidentiality.
e) Ability to lead; be recognized as a leader; able to exercise fair and good judgment.
f) Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
g) Ability to multi-task; be innovative; able to respond to urgent and/or unexpected needs.
h) Be willing to be flexible with schedule and work additional hours as needed.
i) Knowledge and commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities.
Shifts would be primarily daytime hours with some nights and evenings required.
The starting salary is between $33,280.00 and $39,000.00 ($16.00 – $18.75 per hour) depending on education and experience. This is a full time (40 hours a week) position with benefits.
