Mariah Yos
Hola! My name is Mariah Yos. I grew up in Farmington, MN. I came to this area in 2014 for college. I graduated from Winona State University in 2018 and have found this area to be home, ever since I came here. I currently live in Trempealeau, where I bought my first home and have spent the last year renovating it. I thoroughly enjoy interior design work and anything DIY house related as one of my passions, along with cooking being another one of my passions and hobbies. I have a husky named Piper (that is my child for now) that I adopted from a Humane Society in college. She is my best side kick in life!
I have worked in public service all my professional life. I genuinely enjoy being a voice and advocate for those that don’t have a voice. I will speak up when others don’t have the ability to speak. I enjoy serving people on a local level, as I feel it is very impactful. I also dream to positively impact people far beyond the local level, and to be a light in people’s lives. I am looking forward to my new role as a Housing and Financial Stability Advocate and helping people secure their basic needs, especially something so vital, important, and emotional like housing. Our basic needs being meet is grounds for growth and is crucial as our building blocks in life to build a strong foundation from.
