Catholic Charities is currently looking to fill a part-time position for a Development Assistant. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Development Assistant supports the fundraising and development efforts of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse.
SKILL AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
a) Education-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a combination of degree and relevant work experience.
b) 2-3 years of clerical experience preferred, i.e., data processing, word processing, Microsoft Office, and communication.
c) Proficient in writing and editing documents, including letters, emails, thank you notes, and other written text.
d) Experience prioritizing, organizing, and working on detailed projects.
e) 1-2 years of experience in the non-profit field preferred.
f) Experience working with a diverse population of people.
g) Displays compassion and respect for others.
h) Knowledge and commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities.
The starting wage is between $11.00-$13.50 per hour, depending on education and experience.
