We are seeking one part-time Community Based Services Support Specialist. The Support Specialist will support clients to achieve and maintain their specified goals. Candidates must be able to work independently with clients and work effectively with community organizations. Candidates should also be knowledgeable of and competent with a variety of positive, proactive behavior management techniques.
Qualified candidates will have experience providing support services to participants with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges in a community setting. They must also have a Bachelor’s or Associates degree in a human services or related field, or provide documentation of 30 hours of documented training in a relevant field. Local travel is required. Hours vary, and are flexible, including early morning, afternoon, evening and some weekend.
