Morning Crew
6:00-8:30 am
Help guests prepare for the day and transition out of the shelter. Prepare and serve coffee, distribute light breakfast items, help with laundry.
Day Center Set-Up/Breakdown Crew

Day Center Hospitality Crew
1:00-5:00 pm
The Hospitality Crew meets guest needs, provides snacks and coffee, and guides guests toward community partner events/services.
Meal Provider
The Meal Provider meets the need for a healthy, modest evening meal for 30-40 people. Food needs to be delivered to the shelter before 6:30 pm.
Evening Kitchen Crew
6:30-9:00 pm
The Kitchen Crew will prepare the kitchen, heat and serve the meal, and clean the kitchen.
Evening In-Take Interviewers
6:00 pm-9:00 pm
The In-take Volunteers are essential to check in our guests each night. They inform guests of the rules/guidelines, assist in the shower/laundry schedule and help the guests store belongings in a safe place.
Overnight Crew
9:00 pm-2:00 am
2:00 am-8:00 am
The Overnight Volunteer helps create a warm and dignified environment where one is able to get help meeting their basic needs of food, shelter and connection to a greater, caring community.
Front Desk Volunteers
Front Desk Volunteers needed in Wausau on Wednesdays. Main duties include answering incoming phone calls, greeting clients, answering questions about Catholic Charities programs and helping with small projects around the office. Training is provided! Must have the ability to welcome all who enter as Christ and maintain confidentiality.
On-Call Volunteers
We are also looking for on-call volunteers to cover shifts when our regular volunteers are unavailable.
